Is Vainstal only for mature skin?
It's formulated for mature, changing skin, roughly late 30s onward, when skin gets drier, thinner and more reactive. If that sounds like your skin, it's for you, whatever your age.
Does RENEW contain retinol?
No, and that's on purpose. RENEW uses a gentle peptide, a stable vitamin C ester and hyaluronic acid instead, so you get support for firmness without retinol's redness, flaking or sun-sensitivity trade-offs. If you're specifically looking for a retinol product, RENEW isn't it.
Can Vainstal treat hormonal symptoms or replace hormone therapy?
No. Vainstal is skincare, not medicine. It supports your skin's comfort and appearance as it changes; it doesn't treat underlying hormonal symptoms or replace medical advice. For symptoms beyond skin, talk to your doctor.
Which products should I start with?
The Shift Starter Ritual (CALM, REBUILD and RENEW) covers the essentials: soothe in the morning, restore day and night, firm overnight. If your skin runs especially dry, The Dry Skin Set (REBUILD, RENEW and NOURISH) is a better fit. Add RESET and MELT to cleanse, or REFRESH for the eye area.

I have sensitive or reactive skin. Where should I start?
Start with our Sensitive-Safe Trio (RESET, CALM, REFRESH), the only three products in our line with zero added fragrance. Every product page also lists a full honest ingredient breakdown, including whether it contains fragrance, so you can check before you buy.
How do I layer my products?
As a general rule: cleanse, treat, moisturise, from thinnest to thickest texture. Morning: RESET, then CALM, then REBUILD (plus SPF). Evening: RESET or MELT, then RENEW, then REBUILD, with NOURISH or REPLENISH layered in on drier nights. Each set page also includes the exact routine for that combination.
Can I use this with retinol or other actives?
Vainstal doesn't contain retinol, so it layers well alongside a retinol routine if you already use one. Introduce any new active gradually, and always wear SPF during the day. If your skin is especially reactive right now, it's worth simplifying to one active at a time and checking each product's ingredient list on its product page first.
Are your products vegan and cruelty-free?
Yes, every Vainstal product is vegan and cruelty-free.
Do you offer a subscription or refill option?
